Account & Access
How do I reset my password?
On the Daily Nogin login screen, tap "Forgot password?" and enter your email address. You'll receive a branded email from Daily Nogin with a secure link to choose a new password. The link expires in 1 hour.
What happens if I lose access to my email?
Your email address is the key to your Daily Nogin account. Without access to your email, account recovery is not guaranteed. Here's what we recommend:
- First, try recovering your email account through your email provider (Gmail, iCloud, etc.) — most have account recovery options
- Once you regain email access, use "Forgot password?" to reset your Daily Nogin password
- If you're unable to recover your email, contact us at support@dailynogin.com and we'll do our best to help verify your identity and restore access

Can I use Daily Nogin on multiple devices?
Yes! Daily Nogin syncs your entries across all your devices automatically. Simply sign in with the same email and password on any device and all your journal entries, check-ins, and settings will be there waiting for you. This works across iPhones today, with more platforms coming in the future.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account at any time from within the app. Go to Settings → Delete Account. You'll be asked to confirm twice since this action is permanent. Your entries will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days. Deleted entries are moved to Recently Deleted, where you can recover or permanently delete them at any time.
How do I change my password?
Go to Settings → Change Password in the app. You'll receive a secure password reset email from Daily Nogin. You can also use "Forgot password?" on the login screen at any time.
Privacy & Security
Can anyone else read my journal entries?
No. Your journal entries are private and accessible only through your account. We do not read, analyze, or share your entries with anyone, including our own team. Your entries are stored securely using Google Firebase with industry-standard encryption.
Does Daily Nogin sell my data?
Never. We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data or journal entries with any third parties for advertising, marketing, or any other purpose. Your data is not a product. See our full

Is my data encrypted?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (when being sent between your device and our servers) and at rest (when stored on our servers). We use Google Firebase, which provides industry-standard AES-256 encryption.
What happens to my data if I delete the app?
Deleting the app from your device does not delete your account or entries. Your data remains securely stored and will be there when you reinstall. To permanently delete your data, you must delete your account from within the app or by contacting
support@dailynogin.com.
Features
What are the different ways I can journal?
Daily Nogin offers four ways to capture every step of your journey:
- Type — write freely with a clean text editor and daily prompts
- Speak — record your voice and get a live transcript
- Handwrite — draw and write directly on your screen
- Video — record a video journal entry
You can also do a
Daily Check-In to track your mood, gratitude, and daily highs and lows.
Can I export my entries?
Yes! You can export any journal entry as a clean, formatted PDF. Open the entry, tap the share/export button, and choose to save or share the PDF. Your entries always belong to you.
How do reminders work?
Daily Nogin reminders are for whatever matters to you, from journaling to daily tasks and personal goals. Set them from the Today's Reminders section on the home screen or via Settings → Reminders. You can customize the message, time, and notification sound for each reminder.
What is the Daily Check-In?
The Daily Check-In is a quick mental wellness tool built into Daily Nogin. Each day you can rate your mood, log what you're grateful for, note your high and low of the day, and optionally vent freely. Your mood history is tracked on a calendar and visualized as a heartbeat graph, so you can spot patterns and see your emotional journey over time.

Is Daily Nogin free?
Yes, Daily Nogin is free to download and includes 1 GB of storage at no cost, forever. No trial period, no expiration. For users who need more space, optional paid storage plans are available.
What storage plans are available?
All plans include full access to every feature in Daily Nogin:
- Free — 1 GB, free forever
- Lite — 15 GB for $3.99/month
- Standard — 75 GB for $7.99/month
- Pro — 200 GB for $14.99/month
- Max — 500 GB for $24.99/month
All plans are billed monthly and managed through the Apple App Store.
What is the +5 GB storage add-on?
The +5 GB add-on is a one-time purchase for $1.99 that adds 5 GB of storage to your account permanently, with no monthly fee or expiration. You can purchase it from the Upgrade screen inside the app.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Your subscription is managed through Apple. To cancel or change your plan:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone
- Tap your name at the top → Subscriptions
- Find Daily Nogin and tap it to manage or cancel
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy.
Will there ever be ads?
No. Daily Nogin will never show ads. Your journal is a private, personal space and we intend to keep it that way. Our business model is simple: storage subscriptions, never advertising.
Technical
The app is running slow or crashing. What should I do?
Try these steps in order:
- Force close the app and reopen it
- Check your internet connection as Daily Nogin needs internet to sync
- Make sure you have the latest version of the app from the App Store
- Restart your iPhone
- Delete and reinstall the app: your entries are safely saved to your account and will reappear when you log back in
If the problem persists, email us at
support@dailynogin.com with a description of what's happening and your device model.
Why isn't my verification email arriving?
Check your spam or junk folder first, as our emails occasionally land there. If you don't see it after a few minutes, tap
"Resend email" on the banner at the top of the home screen. Note that there is a short waiting period between resend attempts. If you still don't receive it, contact us at
support@dailynogin.com.
Is Daily Nogin available on Android?
Daily Nogin is currently available on iOS (iPhone). An Android version is on our roadmap — stay tuned! If you'd like to be notified when Android launches, email us at
support@dailynogin.com and we'll reach out as soon as it's available.
What age do I need to be to use Daily Nogin?
You must be at least 13 years old to create a Daily Nogin account. This is required by US law (COPPA). If you are under 13, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us at
support@dailynogin.com.
